How much context can the AI remember?
The AI remembers your entire conversation within a session. However, very long documents may exceed DeepSeek's context window. In that case, the document text may be truncated — only the extracted text portion is used as context.
Is my chat data private?
Yes. Your PDF content and chat messages are sent to the DeepSeek API via our server-side proxy. We do not store, log, or have access to your conversations. The API key is configured server-side.
What happens if the PDF is very long?
The text is extracted from the PDF and sent along with your question to the AI. Extremely long documents may exceed token limits. In such cases, consider asking about specific sections rather than the whole document.
Can I start a new conversation?
Yes. You can clear the chat history or upload a different PDF to start a fresh conversation at any time.
